This Christmas, our local shelter pets have one wish: a home to call their own for the holidays. While we understand that finding “furever” homes for all our pets may take time, there are meaningful ways you can help make their stay at the shelter more comfortable until that special day arrives.
Our local shelter provides specific food for our dogs and cats to keep them healthy. Feeding them other foods can make them sick, so donations of the items listed below are especially important. Additionally, our local shelter runs a pet pantry every Wednesday to support families who are struggling to afford food for their pets. The pantry allows families to pick up food for free, helping keep pets in loving homes and out of the shelter.
This wonderful initiative is being led by WAHS Principal, Mrs. Moore. If you have any questions or need further details, please don’t hesitate to reach out to her. We are so grateful for Mrs. Moore’s leadership and her commitment to supporting this effort!
