Dear Windber Families,
We are excited to invite you to our "Haunted Harvest" event on Saturday, November 2nd! Our staff, parents, and students have been working incredibly hard to create a night filled with fun, excitement, and spooky surprises for the whole family. We want to make sure everyone has a wonderful experience, so we kindly ask that you register in advance to help us plan accordingly.
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, November 2nd
- Location: Windber Recreation Park (near the Windber Community Pool)
- Parking: Flood City Baseball Park (families will walk to the new pole/steel building next to the Windber Swimming Pool for registration and to sign a waiver)
- Times:
- 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Activities for students in grades K-6
- 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Activities for students in grades 7-12
Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Pumpkin Painting Station – Get creative with your own pumpkin masterpiece!
- Face Painting Station – Transform into your favorite character or enjoy a spooky design!
- Candy Apple Station – Satisfy your sweet tooth by creating your very own candy apple!
- S'more Station – Enjoy roasting marshmallows and building your perfect s’more!
- Outdoor Halloween Movie (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM) – Watch a family-friendly Halloween movie under the stars.
- DJ & Music (Starting at 8:00 PM) – Dance the night away with your friends!
- Haunted Hayride – If you dare, hop on for a spooky ride through our haunted trail!
Important Notes:
- Waivers will need to be signed upon registration for participation in certain activities.
- While we love costumes, we ask that students do not wear costumes to the event. Only our actors will be dressed up to bring the Halloween magic!
- We are asking for a donation of your choice per carload upon arrival, and a portion of the proceeds will support local charities.
