Dear Families,
We are thrilled to announce that our district has successfully written for and received a grant dedicated to funding various events designed to create pro-social and positive experiences for our students. These events aim to provide opportunities for our students to enjoy themselves, connect with friends and families, and build stronger bonds within our community.
As part of this exciting initiative, we are pleased to invite you to one of our first events: Family Swim Night at the Windber Recreation Pool. This special evening will take place on August 24th from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

In addition to the fun of swimming, we will also be providing a light snack option for families while supplies last. The light snack will be provided at 7:00 pm in the new pole building located next to the swimming pool.
Our goal with these events is to foster a sense of community and connectedness. Windber is a special place, and we want to continue to nurture and grow that sense of community spirit through events like Family Swim Night and others planned for the future.
