Dear 9th Grade Families,
Please accept this as a reminder about our upcoming 9th-grade orientation scheduled for August 21st @ 7:00. While attendance is optional, this event is a timely opportunity for both new students and freshmen to become better acquainted with the exciting journey ahead. The orientation aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to our high school environment and ease the transition into this new chapter of education.
During the orientation, attendees will have the chance to hear from a diverse student panel, gaining insights and perspectives from those who have experienced high school life firsthand. This invaluable exchange of experiences will help ease any uncertainties and create a sense of camaraderie among our incoming students. Additionally, families will have the chance to meet and greet our administrative team, establishing important connections within our school community.
While the orientation offers an insightful glimpse into high school life, we also recognize the significance of building a direct relationship with your child's teacher. Therefore, we encourage you to join us for our Meet the Teacher event the following night, where you will have the opportunity to engage one-on-one with your child's teacher and discuss their academic journey in more detail.
The 9th-grade orientation will last approximately 1 hour, ensuring a concise yet informative experience for all attendees. We look forward to warmly welcoming you and your child to this event, whether you choose to attend the orientation, the Meet the Teacher event, or both. Your active participation is greatly appreciated as we work together to provide the best possible start to a successful high school journey.
