The Windber Area School District is excited to announce an upcoming event that holds great significance for our community, the Salute to Heroes Game, taking place on Friday, October 6th, prior to our home varsity football game against Everett. I apologize in advance for the early notice, but we want to give community members ample time to order their apparel for the fundraiser.
During this special event, we will have the honor of recognizing and paying tribute to our local veterans and first responders for their unwavering dedication and selfless service to our community and country. It is an opportunity for us to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for their sacrifices and the invaluable contributions they make every day.
As part of the Salute to Heroes Game, we will be hosting a spirit sale fundraiser! We invite all Rambler fans to participate and show their support for our local heroes. By ordering specially designed apparel, you not only demonstrate your team spirit but also contribute to a meaningful cause. We are proud to announce that 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the Windber Veteran Association, ensuring that our support directly benefits those who have served and protected us.
